According to the Costal Container Port Comprehensive Service Evaluation Index released recently, Qingdao port ranks No.1 in operation efficiency among all domestic coastal container ports. The evaluation index is based on ELANE ship AIS data and shipping big data of Shanghai International Shipping Research Center.
????High operation efficiency wins reputation for Qingdao to build its container port brand, and it also attracts many shipping companies to extend shipping routes to Qingdao port. Benefitting from strong support of foreign trade and economic development of its hinterland and domestic leading container loading/unloading efficiency, Qingdao implements the shipping company headquarters marketing strategy. In 2016, Qingdao opens another 20 shipping routes, which is No.1 among all ports in China.
