????The general airport in the West Coast New Zone of Qingdao has recently been approved and will become the first general airport in Qingdao to obtain the approval.
????The project will be constructed according to the 3C-category general airport standards and will meet the requirements of using Mi-171 helicopter. A parking apron with a length of 300 meters and width of 30 meters, as well as necessary ancillary facilities such as flight command, hangar, correspondence and navigation will be built. With the foundation of this airport, the West Cost New Zone will introduce advanced aviation technology from Russia and a complete aviation industrial chain will be formed including large Russia-made helicopter assembly, sales, inspection, repairing, trustee and training. After completion, the airport will be used for aircraft testing, trial flying and navigation such as helicopters as well as a strong guarantee against emergency rescue and relief work.
