Growing with En g lish
Back in the years when I was only six years
old orso, I had my first taste of English. It
seemed very strange tome. At the very beginning, I
was not so interested in this strange language.
Moreover, the English TV program, which my Dad
forced me to watch, always took time away from my
cartoon shows. As a result, I started to hate
English.
Time flies. Things completely changed at the
end of my primary school life. In the last exam of
the whole primary school peri od, I did so well in
English that I got a full mark. I found that I
could do a perfect job in English if I put my
heart onit. This ex am seems to be a turning point
on my road of studying English and has really
inspired me and raised my confidence.
Well, things won’ t always go smoothly. The
moment I became a senior －school student. I
realized that there are a lot of challenges and
competitions waiting forme. I didn’ t do very well
in the first few exams. But these setbacks didn’ t
hurt my confidence. Instead, they pushed me to
study harder. After so much effort was made, I
finally became one of the top students in English
in my school.
Nothing is impossible for willing hearts and
I believe, in the future, I can fly as high as I
wishto.英語伴成長
早在我六歲左右的時候,我就開始接觸英語了。那時候,英語對我來說是很奇怪的,我對這奇怪的語言也不感興趣,更何況爸爸總強迫我看一些英語教學節(jié)目,節(jié)目時間又總與動畫片時間相沖突,因此,我開始討厭英語。
時間匆匆過去,在我小學生生活的最后,情況徹底改變了。小學階段的那次畢業(yè)考試,我的英語發(fā)揮的相當?shù)暮?取得了滿分的好成績,我發(fā)現(xiàn)只要我用心學一定能學的不錯。這次考試在我的英語學習道路上的信心,是一個轉(zhuǎn)折點,確實鼓舞了我并且增強了我學習英語的信心。
但是事情不可能總是一帆風順。在我成為一名高中生的那一刻,我發(fā)現(xiàn)在我面前有許多挑戰(zhàn)與競爭在等著我。一開始,我在考試中發(fā)揮并不好,但已下定決心,我并未灰心,相反,我變得更加勤奮,并且通過一系列努力,我最終成為了學校的一名英語尖子生。世上無難事,只怕有心人。我相信,在未來,我將如愿以償?shù)卣钩岣唢w。
